RENDERING YOUR STILL IMAGES INTO A MOVIE
Before you start;
royalty free sound clips
Make your own sound
- audacity should be on the Macs in room F210
You can make audio clips with your mobile, just search for free sound editing apps; thousands of them on the app market.
Also it’s good to use Photoshop to resize large images too, if you have too much pictures make or use an action.
I am using AE CC 2015 for Windows, so options may vary from systems and version (CS5, 6 etc…). I find easier for sound less troubles tweaking.
Prep for AF: make sure your images are in the same folder
Find and open AE
Import your images using File-> Import-> File….Find your images folder
Just click on the first image (and also AF automatically recognises sequences), so make sure you tick the JPG image sequence option. Also make sure you don’t delete any images in the sequence (I will demonstrate issue later). If you have deleted any picture, you might need to rename all pictures in the folder using Adobe Bridge.
You will find your image sequence in the assets panel on the left side of the graphic interface, if not just open it from the window menu option.
Drag your imported sequence onto the make comp (composition) icon just below the asset panel.
You will then see your sequence on the time line.
Import your sound onto your timeline. Import the file, then drag it onto the timeline bellow your sequence.
Play your movie, click play button on the preview tab on the left of your screen, if the preview not on, just open from them window menu option.
This screen will appear in your sequence whenever an image is missing from the folder. You can sort the problem but the lesson is not about issues, so you will need to start with Adobe Bridge again and rename all pictures so the sequence is right.
I you have problems with sounds let me know………
Once you have added the intro and outro you can now save your file and export.
